Project Overview
Woodstock's "Cheers" Gets a Digital Upgrade

Tavern at Towne Lake isn't just a restaurant; it's the heartbeat of the Towne Lake Hills community—a place where neighbors became owners to preserve the local "Cheers-style" atmosphere. Located inside the golf club but open to the public, the venue struggled with an identity crisis online. Their previous website was dated and non-responsive, failing to bridge the gap between a casual neighborhood bar and an upscale dining destination.

The mission was to modernize their digital handshake. We needed to create a warm, inviting platform that served two distinct masters: the exclusive feel of the club members and the welcoming inclusivity required to attract the broader Woodstock public. The goal was to capture the spirit of community while driving tangible revenue through events and online orders.

Visual Disconnect: The old site lacked mobile responsiveness and failed to reflect the "upscale-casual" interior, confusing potential new guests.

Event Visibility: With a packed calendar of "Sip & Paints" and live music, the previous site offered no easy way for guests to discover or book these activities.

Dual Audience: The UX had to be intuitive enough for a multi-generational audience, serving both tech-savvy youth and older club members.

The Goals

Brand Alignment: Develop a custom visual palette using Gold (#e4bc19) and Charcoal to mirror the warm, premium interior design.

Event Growth: Architect dedicated landing pages for Public Events and Private Parties (150+ capacity) to streamline inquiries.

Local SEO: Dominate search results for terms like "Sunday Brunch in Woodstock" to drive foot traffic from outside the golf club gates.

Strategy & Approach
Phase 1: Visual Strategy

We moved away from generic templates to a tailored brand system. I utilized a palette of Tavern Gold (#e4bc19), Charcoal, and Taupe to evoke warmth. Typography played a key role; we selected a hand-crafted display font for headings to echo the logo’s personality, paired with a modern sans-serif for readability across devices.

Phase 2: Architecture & UX

We engineered a fixed navigation bar to provide instant access to high-value pages: Menus, Events, and Online Ordering. The homepage was structured as a narrative journey—greeting users with a "Welcome" section, highlighting upcoming community events, and driving VIP sign-ups with clear Calls-to-Action.

Phase 3: SEO Content Engineering

We optimized the site’s core content to target the Woodstock area specifically. By embedding keywords like "private event space Towne Lake" and "Tavern in Woodstock GA" into headings and meta tags, we positioned the restaurant to capture local search intent effectively.
