EATaliano Kitchen
Project Overview
Unifying Two Kitchens, One Digital Experience
EATaliano Kitchen operates two bustling locations in Atlanta—The Battery and Brookhaven. Despite the polished atmosphere of their dining rooms, their digital presence was scattered and dated. Guests frequently abandoned the site due to confusing navigation, while lucrative corporate catering inquiries were getting lost in a generic inbox. The brand needed a sophisticated online home that could handle high traffic without breaking the user journey.
The mission was to transform a fragmented web presence into a scalable, multi-location powerhouse. We aimed to streamline the guest experience from "I'm hungry" to "Table Reserved," ensuring that the website drove measurable revenue rather than just serving as a static brochure.
Challenges & Goals
The Challenges
Location Confusion: Users struggled to toggle between the two distinct locations, leading to frustration when looking for specific hours or menus.
Conversion Friction: Essential revenue drivers—Online Ordering and Reservations—were buried under clicks or outdated PDF menus that hurt SEO.
Lead Leakage: High-value catering opportunities were being missed due to a lack of a structured inquiry funnel.
The Goals
Unified Architecture: Architect a modular "twin-location" layout that allows guests to choose their venue instantly with real-time accuracy.
Brand Refinement: Amplify the existing brand equity using a Brushed Gold (#d1ad78) and Black palette, elevating the typography with Cinzel for a premium feel.
Seamless Booking: Embed native OpenTable widgets above the fold to capture reservations immediately with proper attribution.
Strategy & Approach
Phase 1: UX Audit & Mapping
We started by mapping every guest touchpoint. This revealed the need for a "Brand Refresh, Not Rebrand" approach. We kept the core identity but polished it, introducing high-contrast elegance to match the physical interiors.
Phase 2: The Multi-Location Engine
We built the site on Popmenu CMS with a specific focus on location logic. We implemented a system where guests select Brookhaven or The Battery in one click, instantly loading the correct maps, hours, and specials for that specific venue without reloading the entire site structure.
Phase 3: Revenue Optimization
We prioritized the path to purchase. Persistent Gold Buttons for Online Ordering were added to hover on both mobile and desktop. We also replaced the generic contact form with a Dynamic Catering Funnel, featuring tiered packages and smart routing to ensure large-party leads reached the General Manager directly.
