Automating the Taste of Tradition

Three Leaf, a formal dining destination in Houston blending Nepalese and Indian flavors, faced a thoroughly modern problem: how to maintain high-touch guest engagement without overwhelming their staff. The restaurant needed to dramatically increase online order volume for lunch and dinner service while simultaneously managing reservations and promotions. They sought a digital solution that was as elegant as their plating but powered by ruthless efficiency.

The mission was to build a "Self-Driving" marketing engine. We needed to design a visually stunning, culturally rich website that not only processed orders seamlessly but also leveraged AI to automate social media, SMS blasts, and email campaigns—freeing the team to focus on hospitality.

Marketing Overhead: The client wanted to run aggressive promotions (Happy Hour, Lunch Specials) but lacked the manpower to manually schedule posts and texts across multiple channels.

Order Volume: Online sales were stagnant; the existing setup wasn't converting traffic into takeout or delivery orders effectively.

Reservation Friction: Booking a table was cumbersome, leading to missed covers during peak hours.

Marketing Automation: Implement an AI-driven dashboard to centralize and automate social posts, SMS sequences, and email newsletters.

Frictionless Ordering: Fully integrate Popmenu’s Online Ordering (OLO) platform to streamline the purchase flow for Lunch, Dinner, and Catering.

Direct Conversion: Deploy a prominent "Call Now" strategy site-wide to capture immediate reservations and inquiries.

Strategy & Approach
Phase 1: Cultural Elegance

We modeled the visual experience after high-end benchmarks (like kanchhi.co.uk), utilizing a clean, photo-forward layout. To honor the cuisine's roots, we layered in subtle Indian graphic accents and curated high-quality Nepalese stock imagery, creating a digital atmosphere that matches the formal dining room.

Phase 2: The AI Engine

The core innovation was the integration of an AI Marketing Suite. We connected Twilio and Mailchimp into a single command center, enabling the client to schedule months of social content and SMS promos in minutes. We also deployed AI Answering to handle incoming phone queries, ensuring no lead was lost.

Phase 3: Conversion Engineering

To solve the reservation and sales lags, we implemented a dual-CTA strategy. A fixed "Call Now" button was placed in the header for immediate bookings, while the Popmenu OLO system was optimized with visual menus to drive higher average check sizes for takeout.
